I’m so glad I was able to save you from that little classroom bowl. You deserved so much more than that—space to swim, clean water, warmth, and someone who cared about you.

I’m grateful I could give you a real home, safety, and love. You got to live your days in comfort instead of being forgotten in a small container, and I hope you felt how much care I had for you.

I’m sorry your body got tired. I’m grateful I could be with you at the end, keeping you warm, safe, and loved. I hope you felt loved every day you were with me, and especially these last few days.
