My mom suggested moon drop, moon pie, or moon cake. My favorite out of that is moon drop but i havent fully decided on it yet. Im also thinking about Ezio and willow. Honestly open to anything.
Just got him maybe an hour ago. I have a 15 or 20 gallon tank (really dont remember what) cycled but my substrate and stuff i ordered for it hasn't arrived yet so I have him in a 1.5 gallon hydroponic tank thing for the time being. It'll only be for a couple days at the most even if my stuff doesnt arrive ill put him in his tank, id just rather have it fully set up before he goes in, at the very least have the substrate in just in case it messes with the parameters.
Also any idea what type of betta he is? The pet store i got him from didnt have a label on him. Not important though, just curious

How did you cycle it exactly? Its very difficult to cycle a tank with just water, you need solid objects like substrate, rocks/stones/, driftwood, plants, filter, tech, etc. for the beneficial bacteria to form on. Do you know your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels? You will also need a heater if you don’t have one yet.
how did you cycle the tank without substrate or driftwood etc? are you sure your ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels are good?
