I noticed kinda a pale face, is this normal? What should I do?

My tank is a 5 gallon, yes filter. No heater. Idk my parameters. Awaiting test strips. A couple weeks I’ve had both. Haven’t done a water change yet no tank mates I feed pellets every other day. Plastic plants and I have decorations.
