Theres a gang of khuli loaches, a hillstream loach, a zodiac loach, a white cloud minnow, 4 emerald dwarf rasboras, a pygmy cory, a bumblebee catfish, around 8-10 adult amanos, a few nerites, and too many red neocardinia shrimp and snails to count, haha.
I'm trying to find a source of captive bred corydoras pygmaeus to give him a little school. Both the cory and the emerald dwarf rasboras were recently moved from a 10g to the 40, to give the white cloud a few more fish to swim with/distract the betta from/spread out aggression, and also to free up the 10g in the case that the betta is too spicy to exist with other fish.

Tank is ~4-5 years established. Personality of the loaches are very chill, the zodiac and hillstream loaches are completely fine with the khulis, but have tension with eachother over territory. That being said, they have been neighbors for ~2 years. They are the two most aggressive fish in the tank so far.
Betta has been in quarantine since the 6th, i’m hoping to introduce her on the 12th.
Yeah I think she’ll be perfectly happy! Most bettas could never dream of having such a lush, lively home, and interspecific violence is pretty minimal in my experience–they usually just herd smaller fish around a little until they get tired or bored, and pay no mind to bottom dwellers. oh my gosh she looks just like mine when i got her! now no more stress stripes and she’s black and red with white stripes in her tail. she should totally be great in that tank id just recommend that when u find the cory’s u want u remove her and re arrange a bit then add her back after cory’s. my female was very nice as a baby but has gotten more agressive w age. worse than a male for sure!
