How long is it safe to keep an aquarium? I have this Cayman 80 scenic (150L) for about 20 years now. Other than a few scratches from cleaning glass it seems fine. But what about the silicone that holds the glass glued?

The fishstore I work at says you should expect 15-20 years out of a mass produced aquarium and up to 30years out of a custom build one.
Offcourse there are outliers and some of our customers have 30 year old mass produced ones.
