Wading boot studs alternative

I looked at the $25-45 price tag on name brand wading studs and decided that they looked identical to $1.29 sheet metal / duct screws at Lowe’s. I believe I even got a couple more than I would have with the name brand kit. I know the zinc screws will likely rust faster, so it’d probably pay to find a stainless steel pack.

I’ll try to remember to edit / update this post after my winter season is done as to how many I’ve lost, the rust, etc.
