Is his fin okay? The one part that I circled is bothering me.I wonder if its normal or not.I also read that black color on the tip of their fin is one of fin rot symptoms and im getting more concerned.
Plus,Bowie(my betta name) make his bubble underneath a leaf.If this is okay,is it compulsory that i have to let him mate or he is just a happy fish?

I know the curly fin is often a result of high pH. Have you tested that recently? It’s not life threatening, mostly just an aesthetic issue. Mine had that.
Not sure about the black edge to the fin. Doesn’t look like the fin rot I usually see, the edge of the fin is still intact, so I personally wouldn’t be worried.
About the mating, no, he doesn’t really *need* to. I don’t think that’s even a bubble nest, actually, the bubbles are a bit too big.
