They just lie like this most of the time and one of them does this almost all day

It can mean they’re stressed or anxious.
If they’re new to the tank that’s enough to explain it. If they’ve been there more than a couple days, they might need some small companions swimming around above them to feel safe. Dither fish. 🙂

They’re crepuscular and nocturnal, so it depends on time of day. Expect them to be sluggish in the day, and active between dusk and dawn.

How many do you have? They like groups of them 6 being a minimum.
