Betta Fish: Just euthanized my first Betta… Rest in peace

I only had him for 8 months… water quality was perfect, he had good food, nice aquarium… then a few weeks ago he started going to the top less often. Today he looked bloated and laid on his side and couldnt even swim to the surface. Tried an epsum salt bath but it didn’t do anything. Euthanized him in Clove oil like recommended… Rest in peace little fish ❤️
