Bought this little guy two weeks ago, and he has these translucent fins. Is that okay? What could be the reason? I saw the images of similar looking bettas and they have fully colored blue-red fins. In the store he was kept in a really small cubic vessel. (His current tank is cycled, aeration is present, he is active and curious)

Yes, it’s normal to have clear fins, both of my bettas have clear fins. For my male, it’s the end of his that’s more clear. And for my girl, her fins are just semi see-through both are vary healthy and spoiled
