  1. Gave the picture to chatgbt. Take with an extreme grain of salt

“That’s a juvenile crayfish (crawfish) — very likely a young white/ghost crayfish or a newly molted baby crayfish that looks pale and translucent.
    How I can tell:
Distinct claws (chelae) on the first pair of legs
Segmented body with a fan-shaped tail (uropods + telson)
Long antennae and typical crayfish body plan
Pale color is common in very young individuals or right after molting
Why it showed up with feeder goldfish:
Crayfish eggs or tiny juveniles often hitchhike in outdoor ponds where feeder fish are raised
They can slip through sorting nets when very small
Important notes if you keep fish:
🚫 Crayfish are not safe tankmates for goldfish long-term
    They will:
    Grab slow or sleeping fish
    Eat fins
    Scavenge aggressively
They also escape tanks easily and need hiding spots
If you want, I can help you:
Narrow down exact species (with a side photo of the claws)
Decide what to do with it (rehoming, species tank, humane options)
Figure out how old it is and whether it’s likely to survive
    Just say the word 🦞”

Almost certainly a crayfish. Not sure on exact species, but it’s a good thing you removed him.
