About 3 weeks ago were this plant added in the aquarium. At first the red one on the right was growing so fast I had to trim it in the first week but now is not growing anymore. I had some algae growth on them so I got 2 ottos, 3 shrimps and 1 snail. I thought this was the problem but still not growing.

What nutrients do you have capped under the sand? Maybe some root tabs could help? Crypts grow relatively easy with a decent nutrient layer. Ludwigia has always been tricky for me, but some co2 could help the plants and push some of the algae back
