This one died two days ago, but I am still wondering what was actually wrong with it. Mostly stayed towards the bottom of the tank swimming (idly in circles in a small area) apart from the general school of fish. I am aware of a small case of itch that was going around, but as of now all the rest have recovered. The rest have bright red noses and were schooling, eating, and swimming actively and regularly, making me assume parameters are good after my testing. (0ppm Ammonia, 0ppm Nitrite, 5-10ppm Nitrate)

How long have they been in the tank? Ich is usually caused by another stressor which compromises immune systems. I doubt a healthy fish wouldn’t be able to fight off ich. Rummies are notoriously finicky with health issues and changes in water parameters, could there have been a ph swing or something? I wouldn’t sweat it if the others are colored well and behaving normally. I’ve been keeping a school of rummies for years and most of my fish I’ve had for years but the rummies always have random deaths in the school seemingly for no reason
