Just got myself 10 in a 15 gal, mesmerised by their beauty .
Also i must say they are 10times braver than ember tetra and doesn’t hide that much !

Idk about shrimp safety though !
My colony grew unbothered with embers, have to see how it goes with these !

Red Neon Blue Eye Rainbowfish (Pseudomugil luminatus) are very pretty fish when they peacock all their fins.

While gorgeous , I have had the hardest time with them. I love my emerald dwarf rasboras.

  5. There’s a few that are close. Microrasbora kubotai, Dario dario, Danio tinwini, Boraras brigittae, Tucanoichthys tucano, Pangio cuneovirgata… Epiplatys annulatus.

  6. I had a bunch of CPDs with shrimp and the shrimp colony never grew. I removed the shrimp to their own tank and now I have a ton. I suspect the babies were getting eaten, but I can’t prove it. So take that with a grain of salt.

I’ve had the CPDs for years and now I’m down to just two. I’d love to get more again, but I never see them around here.

They are beautiful, especially with good lighting. I had a day/ night light with only white and blue leds wich made them a bit pale. Now I have full spectrum lights and they look great.
