I introduced Gary a while ago – I was not expecting to get a betta so started with just a tank and 2 ornaments, both gifted.
I think his new setup has come a long way!!
Only things I am thinking of adding are something on top of the hole in his stump, and maybe a nerite snail.

Does Gary have a lid?
Much improved, nice work! Someone else mentioned a lid and that’s a good idea if you don’t have one, bettas are jumpers
