Twice a day, 3-5 pellets. I remember those ones are pretty small, so maybe up to 7 depending on your fish’s appetite.

Make sure you SOAK the freeze dried food in water for a few minutes before feeding. Use this as a treat as you would like.

Fast ONE day per week. No food.

  2. Both of those are very low in nutritional value. I highly recommend feeding frozen mysis shrimp shrimp, frozen brine shrimp, and higher quality pellet foods such as fluval bug bites (betta formula), northfin, omegaone, and Hikari.

  3. i suck at bettas – my community tank and when i kept goldies – once a day feeding daily and I skip once per week on the community tank on water change day. I’m still trying to crack the betta code – can’t get past 8 -9 months. I know my area has very hard water but also maybe I’m over feeding- or unhealthy overbreeding from chain pet stores.
