Someone gifted this poor guy with a half gallon tank at our white elephant. Obviously I stole him as no one else is going to properly care for him. I need to get him into something for the next couple days as obviously it’s Christmas Eve so I can’t get him a proper set up because everything is closed. Even once I get him into something, I’ll have to cycle as we go. We were supposed to go out of town tomorrow afternoon until Saturday afternoon, but can be flexible as obviously a living fish is more important.

Check facebook marketplace!
Get at least a 5 gallon tank or even plastic tub with some floating plants and change the water often, (make sure to dechlorinate with seachem prime or other water conditioner) that will be good for him while you make a permanent plan. Bettas are really resilient so I’m sure your guy will be alright! Have you kept any fish before?
