Found it writhing on the substrate in my 1.5 week old dirted tank with driftwood, plants, ramshorn and bladder snails. I got the dirt from my yard and was lazy so I didn't rinse or dip the plants, just put them straight in. It doesn't look like the other leech photos I can find, so I'm curious.
I'm hoping to put cherry shrimp and redfin zebra danios in the tank, do you think they'll be okay or will these kill them?
I'm in Australia by the way, if that matters.

It honestly looks like a white earthworm, you can see what looks like a head end and clitellum with the vein coming down the body from it
