I have a 20 gallon. I’ve never had a long finned betta before and I know they need shrubbery and things to lay on. I’m planning on getting moss to cover the wood and some cherry shrimp, what else should I add😭

If you have the money, get some more plants, they also have floating beds for them that are fun
Maybe a floating log? My betta love those and makes it easier for them to rest having something near the surface and getting out of the lights if they’re trying to sleep.
I don’t recommend shrimp with betas.I have never had luck with it
Those tall plants around the middle with a single stock that branch out into faintly striped leaves are dracaena – a non aquatic plant. You can put their roots in the hang on back filter(pop the lid and put foam media on top) but leaves need to be above water. And I think that is an anubias on the right(?) does it have a rhizome (horizontal thick part between stems and roots)? If so pull that those out of the substrate or it will rot.
