got this fish today, and the cup he arrived in was very dirty with leftover food, so I felt bad but acclimated him immediately. He appears to be doing fine, though I’ve noticed he allows the tank leaves to touch him and won’t eat unless I hand-feed him. He’s also surprisingly comfortable with being gently petted.

It looks like he could have cloudy eye rather than diamond eye. It may clear up with in good water parameters and overall a healthy lifestyle and good care!
