Hi. Suddenly we have gotten tons of these in our aquarium and they are everywhere. Can we use snail traps and how effective are they, or do we need assassin snails to get rid of them for good?

Bladder snails, since you’re keeping shrimp probably best to get rid of them by getting assassin snails. They will compete with the shrimp for biofilm etc. Not sure how many assassins you need but if you want to get the situation under control temporarily put a slice of cucumber under a small rock to keep it there in the hotspot and wait an hour then take it out.
