The lady at the store said they feed theirs like 1-2 time a week. I’ve been feeding him 1 pellet a day. Can he get more or less? I don’t want him messing with the snails or shrimp. Which I think they has been leaving them alone but just to make sure.

More and also thats kind of a low quality food. I think omega one is better though I saw it used to have some controversy
I bought those and my fish would not touch them. They seem to love bug bites best. And sometimes I give them frozen blood worms for a treat.
I do 4 pelleted a day, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. Then I try to do a fasting day on Sunday’s. 1-2 times a week seems crazy low
4-5 small pellets twice a day , because I have a GROWING ACTIVE PLAKAT
I make him skip breakfast on Mondays
Bug bites (smaller ones) for dinners
Betta Pro Ultra Fresh Shrimp Patties for breakfast
Or Hikari Vibra bites for breakfast
King British Daphnia treats for good poops x2 week
He refused bloodworms
Trying to also add Northfin Betta bits into rotation, but out of stock where I live
I feed my guy twice a day, morning and night. Usually 1 pellet in the morning, maybe some dry snacks in the afternoon…VERY LITTLE, and then another 1-2 pellets in evening or frozen bloodworms. Just picked up some frozen daphnia too. I like to toss a variety diet in there for him. Like humans, I don’t want to eat the same thing daily I would think he would not like that either but that’s just me. 🙂
Every 2-4 days, large feeding.
hey just fyi! that food contains wheat which your betta can’t digest which might cause bloating and even death. bug bites are super recommended by a lot of people, and is super high in protein!
I feed mine 2 pellets twice a day, I was told that their stomach are small so 1-2 pellets is fine, ah but I only feed her Omega One betta pellets since it doesn’t have filler ingredients.
