Aquariums: Quartz-Stone decorations in aquarium tanks?
Can you put quartz stones like this in aquariums or is there anything I need to be aware of.

Quartz is stable and does not react to the water, so it’s a good choice for aquariums. One thing to keep in mind is that colored varieties (smokey, amethyst, citrine) fade with UV light exposure.

Quarz stones are safe. Aquarium sand is Quarz based 😉
Edit: Only thing to consider is Sharp edges and Long fins!
Wrong-Ad-4600 on
1. is it natural or artifical coloured?
2.if natural the crystals of quarz are safe in a tank.
3.what kind of rock the quarz is in. so can influence the waterparameters (harden the water) -> acid test
where is that quarts from?
