Fluoro or braid for small to medium sized glidebaits
Combo is a daiwa tatula 300 with 40 pound braid and a 7'11 heavy moderate-fast action okuma guide select. I keep seeing people use fluoro or mono so i was considering changing out the braid

For all glides I really like braid because I hate the stretch in other line types

I hate casting with full spools of clear lines and don’t like line stretch any more than necessary. Braid w flouro leader for me personally. Generally Expedition>FG>Seaguar Gold>palomar>lure

I’d throw a fluoro leader on it personally but I definitely would stick with braid on the mainline.

I throw my glides (.5-4oz) on CXX copolymer and have never had an issue.
