Aquariums: Set up my first aquarium ever yesterday!

You got a good tank to start with! It looks like my first tank when I started. Congratulations 🎊 may your Journey be filled with the excitement it brings. Don’t get discouraged when problems happen it’s part of the process. There will be good days and in the beginning more bad lol always reach out to the community with any questions and for tips and tricks. I’ve learned so much in the past year I never thought I’d know. Scape scape scape! If you ever need any plants I have a ton!

Tips:
If you can get a light that can be dimmed, if not get floating plants
Get a few snails or plecos
When adding new fish quarantine them for a week, if you ever see them making quick darting motions against a rock they probably have a parasite.
Don’t add cichlids to a community tank
Get a canister filter and under gravel filter, they work wonders on the water quality. (Eheim 5e)
