is he a pest snail? im on day five of my planted fishless cycling of my new tank, i figure this little fella hitchhiked in on the plants i got. i’ve read that pest snails can reproduce asexually and to expect a population explosion in a week or so… is it too late for my tank? 🙁

Currently lost the battle but I’ve accepted the snails but when I see to many I just crush some and let some live
Yeah the only way to avoid them is to buy exclusively in vitro plants.
Bladder snail, they’re harmless and beneficial.
