LOL! I’ve been dinged by a few fish but the worst was a triggerfish. I think Potato was irritated by your love and knows damn well that wasn’t food.
Did it leave a mark? The triggerfish left a mark. So did the snowflake moray eel but that healed up quick, the trigger’s mark lasted a couple of weeks. Those fused teeth, man!

Just in case you’re not aware, there are a few infections you can get from having an open wound in a fish tank. I know my spouse has had patients with mycobacterium marinum infections. There are others, but I don’t remember them offhand.
