He looked lonely so i got him a friend. Is this brand of salt okay, or do I need kosher salt? Idk if they're Jewish or not, doesn't look like the right kind of hat.

Based on the hat I’d say hes not Jewish but I would add kosher silt so you have both so he can choose his favorite

I think you need celtic salt actually. And maybe the SpongeBob pineapple? I think you can find a used one for free on Facebook marketplace.
