When I go to college I’ll be really lonely cause I won’t have my cat there and I’m thinking of having some planarian worms to take care of! I think they’re very cute and pretty low maintenance which is perfect for me!
I know round containers are inhumane to keep other marine life in but I was wondering if it’s the same for planarian worms because I might have a container that would work great! If not it’s totally fine, I’ll just invest in a rectangular one instead :]
Thanks for reading! 🫶

I can’t answer your question, but I also have a fascination with them! They’re so weird. May I ask where you’re going to get so many planarias though? they’re pretty hard to see so you must be getting a few, right?
i have a small windowsill vase with a bit of hornwort and it has planarians, ramshorn snails, and a few scuds. i put the tiniest amount of fish food in very rarely and top off the water and they thrive in there so i think something for just planarians would do fine as long as there’s a little plant life or something for water quality!
