I have this new tank of strawberry rasboras and neocaridina. Some of the rasboras showed these white dots a week after getting them.
I’ve treated Ich before in my big community tank, was gone in 3 days, no casualties. But these guys have had these spots for 10 days now. I’ve medicated the tank and raised the temp to 80°F but the white dots persist on these 2 fish, and I found another dead this morning. Just wondering if I may have misdiagnosed

It looks like epistylis. Raising the temperature can actually make it worse, unlike with ich. l recommend using antibiotics like kanaplex and metronidazole. Aquarium salt is also surprisingly effective!
