Please forgive me if this is a stupid question. I’m a saltwater fly fisherman and fly tier. I’m just starting to try my hand at trout fly fishing. My understanding is that CDC has good buoyancy so it’s used mostly for dry flies. But you’re using it on a weighted nymph. Is it just for the profile on this fly? Thanks!
