Landed my PB; Beautiful buck rainbow. Released healthy. Rocky, weedy, snaggy creek and 6lb test made for a hell of a rodeo… Not sure what he weighed but the measurement from the crease of my curled hand to the top of my tattoo is 12”. Northern Ca.

qalcolm on January 8, 2026 6:00 pm Beautiful brown! What did he bite on? In the future if you’re practicing C&R it’s best to avoid laying fish on the ground, particularly trout as it can damage their slime coat leaving them susceptible to infection.
