I don't know what is wrong I'm a first time fish owner I have done hours of research I thought I was doing good but a few days ago my betas (young female) fish's back fin fell off I did a water change and I think it's the PH is to high she has wired gray spots on her her fin is healing but the gray spots are getting worse she is in a 10 gallon tank I've put stuff in to lower ph leaves there is 2 amono shrimp and one Cherri shrimp and 2 mystery snails in a 10 gallon tall tank it has plants

I think she lost her fin because she was rubbed against theses wood that I've taken out anyone have any advice? At one I'm going to go to the pet store to get a filter to put her in a hospital tank

  1. I think you’re right with high ph. Although I don’t think that would cause the tail to fall off. Was it sudden? Are there plastic plants in there? How old is your betta, how long have you had her
