Cleaning up in the fish area and found my Nerite Sneve in a pile of trash I had swept up 😔. I only ever see him in the tank maybe twice a month ( 29gal planted, he’s usually hiding ) I didn’t even notice he was missing .

They can survive a surprisingly long time (like up to a month) out of the water if they keep the seal on their operculum. Might be worth tossing him in some water to make sure. These guys naturally live in the intertidal zone and are used to being high and dry at times.
Update : it’s been like 30 minutes, idk how long it would take him to move but I’ll sadly continue planning the funeral .
