DIY fly rod carrier

Hey everyone,

I posted a couple weeks ago and a few people wanted more info about my DIY fly rod carrier I built a few years ago, so I made a write-up and video about it on my website (link in my profile.) Basically, it's a PVC rod carrier with a backbone, so it acts like the commercially-made rod carriers in that it can be easily installed and removed, moved between vehicles, etc. I took the idea of the PVC pipe and ammo box combo that many people have done, and just took it a step further.

I'd love to hear what you think of it, and how it could be made better. I think it was a solid first attempt but I bet there are some good ideas out there to refine it even. Thanks in advance!
