Hello! I’m very new to fish-keeping, and I bought 2 plants from pet store, one of which likely came with this little guy (I rinsed them thoroughly I thought). Is it fine to leave in, or will it affect anything?
Also, anyone knows what species it might be and if it’s dangerous for shrimp that I plan on adding soon? Thanks!

Looks like a MTS but I could be wrong I would say leave it. If it reproduces like crazy depending on which fish you can just crush them against the glass and the fish will eat it. My black skirt tetra love bladder snails lol
Looks like a Rabbit snail rather than a Malaysian Trumpet snail to me. They are amazing snails and not dangerous to shrimp or fish

Its a rabbit snail! Keep it! They are so cute. They do not over populate at all compared to other snails. You are so lucky. Best little hitchhiker 🥹
Awwww a rabbit snail! They are special. They do need ph 7.5+ and calcium for their shells. I added crushed coral to my tank. I think you can also use cuttle bone or wonder shells.
I like to buy snail food from Amazon or Etsy. But can also feed blanched veggies which is fun to watch them eat
