  1. I could be wrong but I believe some goiramis make bubble nests as they are closely related with bettas!

    lol as I look at my tank I see my gourami doing the exact same thing.

    I asked AI to confirm they breath air to supplement oxygen:

    “Yes, gourami fish breathe air to supplement oxygen. They possess a specialized labyrinth organ that functions like a lung, enabling them to gulp atmospheric oxygen from the water surface in addition to using their gills.”
