

Added some Bacopa Colorata to this low tech tank back in early December. Really enjoying the coloration after only one month in the tank. The clippings were very small and initially melted back on me so the growth and coloration has been impressive given all that.

Bacopa is my #1 suggestion for beginners because it’s hardy but also a quick indicator of tank conditions. I have a ton of Carolina which turns copper under strong light and grows like a weed. My LFS begs me for it. Even in low tech it will happily grow 2-3″ a week if happy.
