Eastern Idaho fisherman mainly hitting trout and using spinners / worms. Currently using a 5 foot ugly stik lite 2-6 and have a 5 foot light. I love fishing and want to upgrade my rod. Would like to keep it around 50-120$ Thanks!

Check out stores near you and see what’s on sale. Any name brand (st croix, shimano, diawa, etc) around that price range will be good. If you end up spending a little more, $300 or so, I am obsessed with the Phenix Elixir 6’6” UL
Depends what you’re wanting it for , are you bait and wait fishing ? (Mice tails & power bait) or finesse fishing using mini jigs?
For bait and wait I would use any 6’6-7’6 ultra light rod such as an Okuma SST , Rays Fishing Cola , Shimano Sensilite, Daiwa Presso, Handing M1 Trout Rod
Mini jig rods I recommend would be a 7’6-8’ Turners Californian CTX , Rays fishing Hummingbird, BnM TCB rod , would also recommend Phenix Mirage or Phenix Elixir but that’s little more expensive
Ive become very fond of the Okuma Celio ultralights. They range from 4’6″ all the way to 7′ I believe. Pretty reasonably priced at around $40.
