My favourite spincast setup

the reel was designed by Abu, and most were also made by Abu. mine isnt but it's still extremely well made.

I've got it on a vintage heddon drop handle rod.

it's a fun 50s/60s setup. I enjoy fishing for bass with it because it's so different from my other rods.

ergonomics of the setup are definitely worse than a modern rod, but it casts a 5/8oz crankbait further than most of my other rods will.
