Get a water test kit asap. Preferably a liquid test kit for accuracy. It’s hard to help diagnose anything without knowing water parameters. If you can’t buy one, most lfs or PetCo and petsmart will test water for free if you bring them some of it.
If you don’t know your water parameters, you’ll have no way of knowing how much water to change, or if there’s something in it that’s hurting the fish. If you didn’t, also use a dechlorinator or water conditioner when adding tap water.
How long have you had them?
please get a water test kit asap!!! ammonia could literally be burning him for all we know, it’s hard to help without all the information
