He was totally fine 2 days ago and now his fins are clamped and he keeps either swimming erratically or laying on the bottom of the tank gasping for air. The water levels are perfect and I was worried it was suffocation from the filter not adding enough oxygen to the water so I turned the flow up to disturb the top layer of the water more. He isn’t improving and I don’t know what to do, I have only had him for 3 weeks.

For more information: this is a completely established tank, he shares the space with 3 khuli loaches and a zebra nerite snail. He just seems to really be struggling to breathe and I don’t know how to help 😢
How often are you changing the water? Are you testing your water? Did you cycle the tank? If so, how? Can you answer all the bits questions
