Since the bulge is very localized, lumpy, and concentrated toward the front, it’s more likely a tumor or an internal growth rather than just overeating. Since she was just gifted to you, it’s possible she’s had this for a while. If she is still acting normally and swimming, she isn’t in immediate distress. Unfortunately, there isn’t much you can do for tumors other than keeping her water pristine and her life stress-free to keep her comfortable.
