Hey guys so this is Gohan! 🙂 my very first betta son! my first time owning a tank as well 🙂 I’ve been so fascinated with bettas bcs they just look so angelic and peaceful swimming around 😊 but I just transferred my betta in his new home and I’m genuinely worried if he’s stressed out I’ve turned the light off as it seems to make him antsy but he just keeps swimming by the glass and his thermometer:( idk if that’s good or bad he is also showing some stress stripes as well (as for the plants I thought maybe he feels exposed I do plan on getting him more and more plants!) also the temperature is showing 80 fahrenheit and tips and advice? Pls and thank you

Here’s a picture of his plants I also added a betta Mopani wood for tannins to help calm him down but I’m freaking out😩 I don’t want him to suffer if something is wrong 🙁
I wouldn’t be too worried. He’s probably just getting settled, but if you’re concerned I would recommend testing the water just to rule that out.
To me, it just looks like a betta getting familiar with his tank, but you know his behavior best. 🙂
Did you cycle your tank? Those bubbles on the glass lead me to believe you just recently filled it up for the first time.
