What setups for this lake? Very snag prone – most popular species are large mouth, chain pickerel & black crappie I don’t mind what I catch but definitely would like to catch anything that bites!😀

I’m not too sure but maybe for the large mouth bass a weedless frog lure or something

If snags are a major problem, you really can’t go wrong with a weedless/weightless senko. I like to throw the 4” senkos because I’ve caught many big crappie on that size as well. Caught my best bass (7lbs) on a 4” watermelon black/red Yamasenko. Big fish will hit small lures.

I would go with a Texas Rig

Something really shiny that does not zig zag a lot is best for the pickerel, small jerkbaits or jigs might work for crappie and bass
don’t use lures that dive too deep if there are snags
Are the snags wood or weeds?

I would try a slip bobber set up along with some of these other suggestions.

Can’t go wrong with a nightcrawler or a minnow 🤷

Weighted/weightless Texas rig, if you want to try to pull out a big danger pickle consider a Johnson’s silver minnow spoon

The answer is always “Texas rig.”

Weightless zooms fluke on 3/0 ewg. If you don’t know what colors are good, always start with pearl fluke.

Whopper plopper or choppo, probably 75 size.
