Never had livebearers before so I'm excited to see the lil fry!

My Molly-cule is made of two females: Piña and Coco and Lada the wild type/green lad.

The bebes have plants and detritus to pick at but I'm giving them crushed up food pellets too so they don't have to venture out of the floating plants if they don't wanna.

Cool to see how fast they can disappear when one of the adults gets too close tho. I'm excited to see what colors I end up with when they get bigger!

(And don't worry I topped off the tank after I took pics lol)

  1. Mollys will eat their baby’s if they can so I would isolate them if you can. They don’t need much at all for the first few weeks even 1-3 gallons is sufficient if your watching params

  2. I do have a 10 gallon I can move them in if I need to. They do have a lot of dense floating plant cover in their current setup tho. I’m not bothered if I lose a few since I know how quickly they breed and I’m not trying to maximize yield since it’s just for fun. But I’ll keep watch on their numbers and try to scoop them or baby box them if their parents get too greedy
