Spring is heating up. Caught my 2nd & 3rd of the year. Both 7 pounders. The rig that’s working for me is as simple as it gets. #8 hair rig with a couple pieces of field corn. No leads, and just cast out maybe 10-15 feet max. Also Tossing in a handful of corn near hook.
I usually put my other rig out a little further and run a pop up or wafter, but it has gotten little attention so far.
