I was looking through my tank and i couldnt find her so i looked under the table the tank was on and there she was. Other than a insect or two and i think a redtail catfish that might have died of stress( in another tank) i havent let many fish or animal die in my care. It feels pretty bad for this to happen and i feel guilty for not putting a lid on. So for anybody who has or is getting a betta fish always get a lid and a few floating plants and better foliage could help a lot too.

No matter your skill and intentions, everyone in the hobby will lose a fish in a regrettable way if they stick around long enough. All you can do is learn from it.
