Hello Everyone, brought home a used Tank (240l) And noticed this Chip. its about 2/3rd height.
Not sure if i existed before and i just missed it, or if it happend just now.
Tell me if this looks ok to you or if you would be cautios.
i plan on filling it with water today and see if it hold for a week.
But I#d really like a few opinions.

I am but a newbie, but this looks fine to me.
It’s not temper glass, if it’s gonna crack it will crack now, and if your water test is fine, I guess it’s ok.
It’s also quite high in the tank, so water pressure will not effecting much. if the seal is not effected that is.
Edit: also the chip edge looks smooth, that’s another reason I believe it will be OK.
please don’t risk it, that 100% will end in catastrophic failure

Just put some silicone and i bet it whill be fine

U know it’s not or u wouldn’t be asking. Sell it on as a snake or lizard or turtle tank at half price and get another one
