OK, so everything is here. It’s all shipped and I have my driftwood in my rocks and I was planning on doing this on Monday but my plants already got here and I feel like I need to go ahead and get this set up so they don’t die how should I wash my Hardscape and my gravel?

I give hardscape a good rinse under running water. Same for gravel, though I use a bucket for that and rinse until clear. You do not need to decloranate the water you use unless it’s “live” (you do not need to rinse “live” substrate.)

You don’t need to wash the stratum btw. I just used 2 bags and no issues.
I am nearly 40 years in the hobby and about 15 years ago I stopped washing. I just put everything in as is. No difference at all, ever.
No need to stress about the plants though. Put them in a bucket of water and put them by a window, they’ll be fine for a couple of days.
